This is episode 32 of our series going over how we can create a survival horror game using Unreal Engine 4 from scratch. We’ll be going over how to create various mechanics built around the game.
Today we work more on the wood fire, having said that we start working on the script that will bring it all together.
Having said that we create a trigger volume and begin to script in some actions for when the player overlaps the volume. Those actions being:
– Change the objective
– Check whether or not the player has enough wood
