The original Atari, Inc. was founded in Sunnyvale, California in 1972 by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney. It was a pioneer in arcade games, home video game consoles, and home computers.
Atari is very well known and has been in the video game industry since the industry’s infancy days. The Atari 2600 is probably its most well-known home console from the 19070s and one of its co-creators, Nolan Bushnell is commonly known as the father of video games.

Atari’s Game Quality 2019
It seems Atari may be venturing back into the console market place soon. With the new buyout, and new ownership, several game titles are owned by the current company, but nothing has been released that we are aware of.

Atari’s Marketing Techniques 2019
The Atari VCS has its own YouTube channel, which is solely dedicated to marketing the new console. Atari also has another YouTube channel that seems to be updated a few times each month with gameplays of new and classic games, as well as interviews with developers.
The company’s static digital and print advertising focuses a lot on the Atari VCS, and the company has been experimenting with new types of ways to promote the company through themed hotels, classic homebrew game development contests and other various forms.
#YGD definitely gives them props for their experimental marketing.
