Games Carbon Footprint Study

Dr. Benjamin Abraham of the University of Technology, Sydney, is conducting research into the energy intensity of video game development. Dr. Abraham is looking for participants to share information about their workplace and its energy use, green policies, and feelings and attitudes about climate action. In most cases, surveys can be completed in 5 minutes or less and should take no more than 30 minutes of your time. A wide variety of responses from game developers and studios both large and small all across the world is ideal for this study.

If you are interested in participating, you can do so by completing the online form and can contact Dr. Abraham with questions about the research. You are under no obligation to participate in this research, can participate anonymously, or without identifying your particular workplace, and can withdraw from the study for any reason at any time.
