Finishing The Fire Sequence – #33 Creating A Survival Horror (Unreal Engine 4)

This is episode 33 of our series going over how we can create a survival horror game using Unreal Engine 4 from scratch. We’ll be going over how to create various mechanics built around the game.

Today we finish up the firewood sequence… having said that we create the matinee sequence that links everything up from the particle systems to making the wood appear. Below is a brief summary of everything we go over!

– Create the different tracks & sequences inside of Matinee
– Remove the logs from the inventory once the fire is lit
– Finish up functionality & script for the fire lighting sequence.
