August Was Great
Ahh. The last month of summer. August seemed to be a lot cooler of a month than I remember, but it was nice. The cool weather allowed me to go for walks with my parents and our dogs. My dog, Molly got to make some new friends on the Mill Creek Farm in Canfield.
As you can see, Molly likes her new sheep friend. So, it’s been a fairly lazy summer. But towards the end of August and through September, I have a very busy schedule.
My boyfriend and I even drove down to Columbus to hang out with my Aunt. We went to Dublin, OH’s Irish festival and I got a cool new hat, as you can see below.
Between school, my websites, day job, and #YGD I have quite the busy schedule. But I make sure I have time for everything, including at least an hour a night for myself. It’s important for everyone to have time to unwind, relax and do something to take your mind off work.
Even if you like your job, it’s still a job. So, my advice this month is to relax. Don’t stress over things you can’t control and enjoy life.
If you aren’t aware already, YGD will not be attending GDEx this year. We did try, but not enough people were able to go, so there’s no group trip. If you are able to go, take pics and share!
I think that’s it for now. There are a few things going on, but those will be posted here on the website or scheduled on Meetup.com, depending on the event type. See you at the next meetup!
