Meetup Follow Up to Learning About Kickstarter

LEARNING ABOUT KICKSTARTER

Hi!

There was cake, and it was delicious. This month, I talked about the Kickstarter I am currently running, and what I have learned about Kickstarter campaigns. There are many things I will definitely do differently, next time. We did record the speech, but due to my camcorder being broken, I had to use an older camera to record it. So, the video quality won’t be great, but you’ll get to watch the video and ask me any questions you may have. I will post the video within the next few days and send out an email to let you all know it’s available to view.

The naming of the convention will be IDEA: Youngstown or Interactive Design, Entertainment and Art: Youngstown.

OGDE is less than month away! It will be a fun trip for all of us. If you’re going, don’t forget to talk with each other about the car ride.

Congratulations and thank you for helping us to make it to our first year! I know this coming year will be even better.

Don’t forget, this Tuesday is the speech panel at the McDonough Museum of YSU where Kendra, Bill and Andrew will be talking about their experience with indie game development.

Our next meetup will be on Sunday, November 1st. I will update you all once a I get a topic for the meetup, and a reservation for where it will be held.

See you all in a few days!

Update

Hello everyone! The video is up on YouTube. I apologize in advance for the poor quality, since I had to use an old camera (my dog used my good one as a chew toy and I won’t be able to replace it for a little while). I also started a developer video blog if you want to check that out. Not sure where I’m going to go with it, but thought I’d give it a shot. Both videos are below:

See you all tomorrow at the talk at McDonough Museum!
